Attorneys in the Firm’s Compliance Department spoke at “Anchors Aweigh! Navigating the New Rules of Consumer Debt Collection in the Wake of the CFPB’s Regulation F,” a Continuing Legal Education event on February 16, 2022, hosted by the Hennepin County Bar Association for attorneys licensed in Minnesota. The session presented a high-level overview of some of the main provisions of Regulation F and their impact in the world of consumer debt collection, including the Model Validation Notice, Limited Content Voicemail Message, and provisions impacting electronic communications.
